i have a project that i'm working on where i have to document a development twice a week. twice a week i go to a beautiful area and marvel at the progress being made. i love being outside, walking and capturing the details of the project.
i also love stopping. being intentional about noticing little things and taking the time to appreciate them. yes, it tends to be flowers most of the time. how often do we intentionally slow down or stop? how often do we allow our imagination to just flow, our own thoughts develop and move from one thought to another? i watch my kids on their screens and realize there is an endless supply of information for us to take in. how often do we think for ourselves? not enough i dare say! i think an aimless walk (without any devices) is long overdue. what about you?
